Diptyque has been a part of our store for the last nine years. Over that time we have built a loyal customer following which we have been pleased to serve.
However, over that time Diptyque has opened more shops, and have pursued a policy of restricting certain products to their own stores; which for us has meant we are unable to supply you with those items you have been requesting.
This has lead to some extreme frustration, and so reluctantly we have decided to de-list them. We have a fine selection of candles from Geodesis, which is also from France, and fragrance diffusers from Dr Vranjes in Italy. Other, equally good value for money brands will be following, so watch this space!
Philosykos Philosykos perfume created by Olivia Giacobetti and released in 1996.
Philosykos perfume is fig with green notes and a woody-earthy base. It smells like the whole fig grove, including the trees and the warm earth, and while the fig note itself is sweet and creamy, the sweetness is tempered by other notes and is never overwhelming.
Philosykos perfume was included in one of the first sample orders I made after becoming seriously interested in perfume, and I pretty much hated it at first sniff. It smelled to me mostly like dirt, wet leaves and bark, and I could not imagine why anyone would want to smell like dirt, wet leaves and bark.
Favourite of French chic, the personal fragrances bring a touch of magic. Layer and fragrance all over this particula diptyque perfume.
